The Ravine

Info

The Ravine is a concept that consists of three houses on a long strip of land in the southern end of Antiparos. The land extends from one side to the other connecting the coastlines of the island through a geophysically rich formation of steep cliffs on the west side and smooth slopes towards the east. Water runs down the slopes crafting ravines which give birth to strips of wonderful biodiversity running through the otherwise dry Cycladic environment. By studying the neighboring ravines, the idea of the project is to create a new flowing ecosystem that brings water, plants and human inhabitation throughout the land in a cohesive manner, respectful to the existing landscape.
